However, you do need:
- to keep yourself grounded
- to know what the priority is
- to know your values
- to make agreements rather than holding on to expectations
- to be decisive
- to delegate well
- to have quality accountability and feedback conversations
- to deal with performance issues well
- to have conviction in your communication
- to cultivate psychological safety and belonging
- to model trust
- to lead upwards
- to hold steady when things are hard.
Lead yourself well first and the rest will follow.
